About me
I'm a bachelor, so it's cook at home or eat out. There is no dinner waiting for me when I get home. My goal is for home cooked food to taste better than eating out. I have raised one son and three daughters. I'm proud to say they are all successful and happily married. I have five grandchildren.
I've just recently become interested in cooking. While being laid up for 2 months after a surgery, I got hooked on cooking shows. Don't know diddly about herbs,spices and blending flavors yet, but, by cooking your recipes, I'm going to learn.
I love wine on it's own, ( and food on it's own) but I really want to learn to blend the flavors of food and wine. My friends and I usually drink the bottle that's open with dinner, giving little thought to food/ wine pairing. Sometimes it's a wonderful marriage of flavors. Mostly, not so much. That's going to change.
I'm looking forward to the day I can confidently post a decent recipe.
I'm truly humbled by being able to try your recipes.
