Shrimp Scampi Pasta Recipe by Sean.

This recipe originally did not have any pasta, but I modified the sauce to be more robust to accommodate that addition. This dish is light and tart, but has strong flavor.

Directions

  1. Cook pasta while following the rest of the recipe.
  2. Heat butter in large skillet over medium heat. Cook garlic 1 or 2 minutes, softened but don't brown.
  3. Add shrimp, green onions, wine, salt, pepper, and half of the red pepper flakes and lemon juice; cook until shrimp are pink and firm, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat. Add cornstarch and stir.
  5. Mix with pasta.
  6. Add parsley, remaining red pepper flakes and lemon juice before serving.
