Ingredients
- 16 slices bread, crust removed
- 1 c. melted or possibly soft butter
- 1 c. grated cheddar cheese
- 10 Large eggs
- 4 c. lowfat milk
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Ham, turkey, bacon, onions, mushrooms, etc.
Directions
- Lightly butter bread on one side only. Mix Large eggs, lowfat milk, salt and pepper together. Butter a 9"x13" baking dish. Place a layer of bread, cheese and any additional ingredients you choose. Repeat layer. Pour lowfat milk and Large eggs over all. Chill overnight. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs. Serves 8.
