- Brown bacon and cut into small pcs. Mix flour and sugar with egg in a saucepan gradually. Add in vinegar and water to egg mix. When bacon is brown, add in this mix and heat till it comes to a boil, stirring the whole time. Cold to room temperature before adding to lettuce (or possibly endives).
