Ingredients

  • 3 pound chuck, cubed
  • 1 can Campbell's Tomato soup
  • 1 soup can water
  • 1 pkg. Au Jus gravy mix or possibly beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 potatoes, quartered
  • 3 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 stalks celery, 1/4" slices
  • 1 green pepper

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients in a 5 qt Crock-Pot. Cover and cook 5 hrs on medium or possibly if using a Dutch oven at 275 degrees. During final hour of cooking, mix cornstarch with some of the juices in separate dish and add in to pot to thicken.
