Ingredients

1 c. flour
2 T sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1/4 c. butter
2 c. sliced apples
1/4 c. plus 2 T sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 beaten egg yolks
1 c. heavy cream

Directions

Work the above ingredients together till crumbly. Pat mix into ungreased 8 inch square pan.
Arrange apples in pan over crust. Add in remaining sugar. Bake 15 min in 400 degree oven then cover with:
Bake till custard is set and the edge is brown. 25 to 30 min at 350 degrees.
