Ingredients
- 1 c. flour
- 2 T sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. sliced apples
- 1/4 c. plus 2 T sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 beaten egg yolks
- 1 c. heavy cream
Directions
- Work the above ingredients together till crumbly. Pat mix into ungreased 8 inch square pan.
- Arrange apples in pan over crust. Add in remaining sugar. Bake 15 min in 400 degree oven then cover with:
- Bake till custard is set and the edge is brown. 25 to 30 min at 350 degrees.
