Ingredients

  • 6 x pork cutlets, 1/4" cuts
  • 1/2 c. flour for dredging
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/8 c. water
  •     Salt to taste
  •     Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
  •     Panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
  •     Peanut oil for deep frying
  •     Tonka Sauce (see recipe)
  • 4 c. cooked rice

Directions

  1. Heat oil to 350 degrees.
  2. In medium-size bowl mix Large eggs and water. Put flour mixed with some salt and pepper to taste into shallow bowl. Likewise put panko into a shallow bowl.
  3. Lightly salt and pepper the pcs of pork then dredge pork in flour mix, then egg wash, then press into panko. When all pcs are done, fry off in batches until golden. Drizzle with Tonka Sauce.
  4. This recipe yields 2 servings.
