Ingredients
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Cream shortening and sugar. Add in egg and molasses and beat well. Add in dry ingredients. Refrigeratefor 30 min or possibly more. Roll into 1/2 inch balls and flatten with fork on cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 min in 350 degree oven.
