Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c. flour, sifted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon soda
- 1 1/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tbsp. butter, melted
Directions
- Sift the flour and salt together. Combine the soda and buttermilk. Add in to the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in the egg and butter. If you want an even lighter pancake, beat the egg white till it hold peaks and mix in gently at the very last. Bake the cakes on a warm griddle.
