Ingredients
- 2/3 c. Buttermilk
- 1 x Egg
- 1 1/2 tsp Margarine or possibly butter
- 2 c. Bread flour
- 1/4 c. Whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Yeast
- 1/4 c. Macadamia nuts, coarsely minced, Or possibly sliced almonds
- 1/3 c. Coconut, toasted
- 1/3 c. Pineapple, dry or possibly candied, minced
- 1 x Vanilla icing
- 1 c. Buttermilk
- 1 x Egg
- 1 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter
- 3 c. Bread flour
- 1/3 c. Whole wheat flour
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 3/4 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Yeast
- 1/3 c. Macadamia nuts, coarsely minced, Or possibly sliced almonds
- 1/2 c. Coconut, toasted
- 1/2 c. Pineapple, dry or possibly candied, minced
- 1 x Vanilla Icing
Directions
- Place all except last four ingredients in machine and push start. Use raisin bread setting if available, adding nuts, coconut, and pineapple at the beep. If you like, before serving, glaze with Vanilla Icing and sprinkle with additional fruit and nuts.
- Vanilla Icing: In a small mixing bowl, stir together 1 c. sifted powdered sugar, 1/4 ts vanilla, and sufficient lowfat milk (2-3 ts) to make an icing of drizzling consistency.
