  • 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
  • 3 sm. very ripe bananas or possibly 1 c. pulp
  • 2 Large eggs

Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add in shortening and mix with your fingers or possibly pastry blender. Add in the well-mashed bananas and the well-beaten Large eggs. Mix in quickly like muffin batter. Pour in greased and floured 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan or possibly round cake pan. Bake 40 to 45 min at 350 degrees or possibly till cake tester tests done.
