Bow tie pasta with clams, mushrooms, and pesto.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Baby Bella mushrooms sliced
  • 3 lg cloves of minced garlic
  • 6.5 oz can of clams
  • 1/4 c Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 TB Basil pesto
  • 1/2 lb of Farfalle pasta
  • Shaved Romano, Asiago, and Parmesan Cheese
  • Fresh cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Heat saute pan then add the EVOO.
  3. Saute mushrooms and minced garlic until mushrooms are cooked.
  4. Add clams saute until heated through.
  5. Toss pesto in the pasta with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Serve with shaved cheese and fresh cracked black pepper to taste.
