  • 2 1/2 c. whole wheat or possibly white flour
  • 1/2 c. non fat dry lowfat milk pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. cool water
  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 2 tbsp. wheat germ and 1 tbsp. Brewers' yeast

Directions

  1. Cream butter and egg till well blended. Sift flour, lowfat milk pwdr, salt and add in into sifted mix the corn meal, wheat germ and brewer's yeast. Add in flour mix and cool water alternately to butter and egg mix. Knead 2 to 3 min. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Dip cookie cutter in flour and cut out Dog Biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 min.
  2. Yeast helps your dog keep away fleas and the wheat germ helps your dog have a beautiful coat.
