Ingredients

  • 2 packages. action dry yeast
  • 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. lukewarm lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs

Directions

  1. Add in water and yeast. Add in 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, beat till smooth. Add in 2 additional cups flour, knead 5 min. Put in greased bowl and let rise for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Push down, divide into 3 balls. Roll. Sprinkle with nuts, cinnamon and brown sugar. Roll into a tea ring and bake at 325 degrees for 25 min. Drizzle with icing. Add in cherries for decoration.
