Ingredients Convert Measures
- 2 sticks margarine or butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 bag chocolate chips (large or small depending on how many chips you like in a cookie)
Directions
- Let the margarine or butter soften and add to bowl with both the brown and granulated sugar. Blend those together until they form a soft almost paste like texture.
- Next add eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Add flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and mix until flour is totally mixed in.
- Add oatmeal and mix.
- Add chocolate chips and mix.
- Roll in balls and bake at 350 degress until light brown...generally about 10 minutes.
