Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, halved (2 1/4 pound & boned)
- Salt & pepper
- 4 slices ham (4 ounce.)
- 4 slices Swiss cheese (4 ounce.)
- 3/4 c. flour
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. white wine
- Mushroom sauce
Directions
- Flatten chicken breasts with wooden mallet. Sprinkle salt and pepper. Top each with ham and then cheese. Fold chicken over. Dip in flour, egg, then fine bread crumbs. In a fry pan, saute/fry in butter till a light golden. Sprinkle white wine over the chicken. Place in a greased roasting pan. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min. When serving, top chicken with mushroom sauce.
