Directions

  1. Cream shortening, sugar, Large eggs and vanilla till light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients, then add in alternately with lowfat milk to creamed mix, beginning and ending with flour mix.
  2. Pour batter into a well greased and floured 9 inch layer pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven 30-35 min or possibly till cake tester comes out clean. Cold 10 min then remove from pan and cold completely.
