Aunt Louise's Banana Bread Recipe

• 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 x Large eggs, well beaten
• 2 lrg bananas, mashed
• 1 pch salt, may be omitted
• 1/3 c. buttermilk
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 c. flour
• 1 tsp vanilla
