About me
Born and raised in Florence, Italy, I enjoy all sorts of Italian dishes, from the more traditional regional dishes (I have a preference for dishes that come from Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Sicily regions), to the more recent inventions by great Chefs!
Now living in Tokyo I have a chance to also enjoy Japanese cuisine beyond the limited number of dishes that can be found back in Italy.
What I find most fascinating about the food world is the experience or learning new flavours and combinations. Food can invoke sensations and feelings that are clearly very well developed within ourselves, that make life more fun, make us feel closer to one another. I spend much time cooking all sorts of recipes, experimenting new dishes and flavours.
I probably won't share on the site everything that I cook, because it's not always fun (most frequent accidents are burning of food or exaggerating with lemon juice), but will post my favourite recipes and look fw to hear your comments.

My mum, my grandmother, the local butcher back in Florence, Tuscan restaurants, Lebanese, Korean, Thai, Indian, Chinese and Japanese cuisines.
