Ingredients
- Approximately 6 cups 00 Tipo Flour (the recipe will work with all purpose flour)
- 1 1/2 tbsp instant yeast
- 2 tsp sea salt
- 2 ¼ cups lukewarm water
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (optional, omit for crispier crust)
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 6 tbsp olive oil
- 8 large ripe tomatoes diced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp crushed chili sauce (or a pinch of chili flakes)
- salt and pepper to season
- Saute the garlic in the oil over medium heat for just a minute before
- adding the tomatoes, brown sugar, chili sauce, salt, pepper. Continue to
