  • 1 pkg. Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 c. minced walnuts
  • 1/4 c. hard butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. dairy lowfat sour cream

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour oblong pan 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Mix 2/3 cup of the cake mix (dry) the sugar, walnuts and butter till crumbly; set aside. Beat large eggs slightly with fork, blend in lowfat sour cream. Fold in remaining cake mix (batter will be thick and slightly lumpy). Spread half the batter into pan sprinkle half the sugar mix over batter. Spoon and gently spread remaining batter into pan, sprinkle with remaining sugar mix. Bake 40 to 45 min. Serves 16.
