Strawberry Blueberry Jam Recipe

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Crush strawberries and blueberries. Place berries, sugar, corn syrup and lemon juice in a large saucepan and bring to a full rolling boil over high heat.
  2. Stir constantly. Reduce heat and stir frequently. Boil for 50 min. Remove from heat and skim. Pour into warm 1/2 pint jars. Seal and process in boiling water bath for 5 min.
  3. Note: To reduce calories in baked goods, substitute equal amount of applesauce for oil or possibly shortening. If the recipe calls for butter substitute an equal amount of applesauce and 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring per half c. or possibly less of fat.
