Shirmp Monterey Recipe

I found this recipe in a blog I was checking out. I thought it sounded so go I had to try it. Happy Cooking Enjoy!

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 pounds uncooked mediun shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 4 cups (8oz) shredded mMonterery Jack cheese
  • 3 tbsp minced fresh parsley

Directions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, saute garlic in butter for 1 minute
  2. Add shrimp, cook for 7 to 8 minutes or until pink
  3. Using a slotted spoon transfer shrimo to greased 13 inch x 9 inch x 2 inch baking dish, set aside and keep warm
  4. Add wine or broth to the skillet, bring to a boil
  5. Cook and stir for 7 minutes or until sauce is reduced
  6. Pour over shrimp, top with cheese and parsley
  7. Bake uncovered at 350 for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
  8. Double recipe if needed!
