Directions

  1. Combine butter, flour, and in a saucepan (making a roux)
  2. Cook for two minutes stirring frequently
  3. Add leaks, onions, celery, carrots, and garlic continues to cook stuirring frequently for an additional two minutes
  4. Slowly pour in milk and bring mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer
  5. Add sherry, paprika, dill, ketchup, Worecestershire sauce and salt to taste.
  6. Add seafood to the mixture and heat thoroughly
