Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 1# raw shrimp
  • 2 stems of fresh Cilantro
  • 4 stems fresh Oregano
  • 2 stems fresh Basil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 Tbsp Butter

Directions

  1. Remove the basil, oregano and cilantro from the stems and chop. Zest the lemon then slice it in half and juice it. Give the garlic clove a fine chop. Mix all but one or two pinches of each herb (minus garlic) to the lemon zest and juice then toss with the raw, peeled shrimp.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan under medium to medium-high heat, making sure not to burn or brown the butter. When the butter is at the sizzling stage add the garlic and saute until tender then add the shrimp. Reduce the heat under the pan to medium-low and saute the shrimp until pink and tender.
  3. Serve this either with or over an herbed rice. ( I'll add this recipe at a later point. )
