Ingredients
- 1/2 pound marshmallows, cut up
- 1 pound (1 carton) cottage cheese
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 3/4 c. water to use with jello
- 1 c. liquid removed crushed pineapple
- 1/2 pt. cream (1 c.) whipped or possibly evaporated lowfat milk
- 1 pkg. lemon jello
- 15 or possibly 16 maraschino cherries, cut up
Directions
- Drain pineapple well. Mix in marshmallows, cheese and cherries. Whip cream and mix in salad dressing. Add in to jello after jello has started to set.
- When set, pour one package of cherry jello over the top and let set well. Pour into large shallow pan. Serve on crisp lettuce leaf. This salad is so named because of the large number it serves.
