Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- Vanilla to taste
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pound raisins, grnd
Directions
- Mix Crisco and sugar. Add in beaten large eggs. Add in water and vanilla slowly. Sift flour and baking soda into mix. Section into amount used for a pie crust. Roll using flour LIBERALLY. Using a water glass, cut into circles. Lay one circle on cookie sheet, drop spoonful of filling. Cover with 2nd circle. Bake cookies at 400 degrees.
- Boil water, sugar and raisins. Add in flour mixed with small amount of water. Boil till thickened.
