Oreo Topped Sugar Cookie Brownies Recipe

My daughter just loved this layered dessert and plans on introducing it at a café that she works at. It’s easy and hits the sweet spot with a triple punch. Watch for Tammie’s post later this month for her version!

Directions

  1. Note: eggs, margarine, oil and water are per the package directions of the brands that I bought. Reference the cookie and brownie mix directions to see specifically what you may need.
  2. Mix the sugar cookie dough per the directions.
  3. Grease a 9×13 pan.
  4. Spread the cookie dough in the bottom of the pan.Mix the brownie mix per the directions.
  5. Top the cookie dough with the brownie batter.
  6. Put the Oreos in a large zip loc bag and smash into small pieces.
  7. Top the brownie batter evenly with the Oreo crumbs.Press crumbs down with a spatula slightly.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until desired doneness.
  9. Makes 18 3″ x 2″ brownies
