This recipe contains no msg, is super easy to make, and is used to prepare meats, poultry, beans, soups, stews, etc.

Annato powder (achiote) adds a beautiful color to dishes, such as rice.

Directions

  1. Place first four ingredients in a skillet, turn on high heat, stir until the spices produce a fragrance, about 30 seconds.
  2. Cool.
  3. Add to other ingredients, mix well.
  4. Store in pantry.
