Ingredients
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 1 1/4 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. salted butter, softened
- 1/2 c. eggnog
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 2 lrg egg yolks
- 1 Tbsp. grnd nutmeg
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Combine flour, baking pwdr, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well with wire whisk and set aside.
- Cream sugar and butter with electric mixer till grainy paste is formed. Add in eggnog, vanilla and egg yolks and beat at medium speed till smooth.
- Add in flour mix and beat at low speed just till combined - don't overmix.
- Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets 1 inch apart. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
- Bake for 23-25 min or possibly till bottoms turn light brown. Transfer to cold, flat surface immediately.
