%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWell,%20let%20me%20tell%20you...this%20little%20cup%20(read:%20big%20mug)%20of%20coffee%20was%20amazing.%20The%20chocolate%20flavor%20was%20bold%20and%20silky%20and%20smooth.%20I've%20tasted%20chocolate%20coffees%20before%20but%20none%20as%20perfect%20as%20this.%20It%20was%20like%20chocolate%20heaven%20in%20my%20mouth%20but%20it%20wasn't%20too%20much%20chocolate.%20What%20I%20mean%20is....don't%20think%20%22chocolate%20milk%22%20or%20%22chocolate%20flavoring%22.....those%20coffee%20beans%20must've%20been%20bred%20with%20cocoa%20beans%20or%20something%20because%20the%20two%20flavors%20meshed%20as%20one%20and%20it%20was%20obvious%20to%20my%20taste%20buds%20that%20they%20were%20made%20for%20each%20other.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThat's%20when%20I%20decided....Yes,%20I%20need%20to%20do%20something%20special%20with%20this%20bag%20of%20coffee%20as%20well.%20So%20I%20quickly%20saved%20and%20chilled%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20coffee%20in%20the%20coffee%20pot.%20You%20see...I'm%20a%20'one%20cup%20of%20coffee%20a%20day'%20kinda%20gal%20and%20I%20had%20made%20half%20a%20pot.%20And%20even%20though%20I%20knew%20I%20wouldn't%20have%20enough%20time%20to%20play%20with%20the%20coffee%20that%20day....I%20did%20not%20want%20to%20waste%20even%20a%20drop.%20So%20in%20the%20fridge%20it%20went%20while%20I%20pondered%20the%20possibilities%20for%20a%20few%20days.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wish%20I%20could%20remember%20what%20lead%20me%20to%20the%20idea%20of%20a%20coffee%20float.%20(I%20wish%20I%20could%20remember%20a%20lot%20of%20things%20but%20that's%20a%20different%20story).%20I%20looked%20up%20some%20recipes%20but%20none%20of%20them%20were%20what%20I%20was%20imagining%20in%20my%20head.%20Part%20of%20the%20fun%20of%20a%20root%20beer%20float%20(the%20ideal%20model%20for%20my%20coffee%20float)%20is%20the%20foaming%20ice%20cream.%20And%20that%20comes%20from%20the%20fizz.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20coffee%20needed%20fizz.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChocolate%20Truffle%20Coffee%20Float%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(makes%202%20floats)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20small%20saucepan%20combine%20the%20coffee%20and%20simple%20syrup.%20Over%20medium%20to%20low%20heat,%20reduce%20by%20half%20being%20careful%20not%20let%20it%20boil%20(nothing%20worse%20than%20burned%20coffee%20flavor).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAllow%20to%20cool%20a%20bit%20then%20chill%20in%20the%20fridge.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20ready%20to%20serve,%20put%203%20scoops%20of%20ice%20cream%20in%20a%20tall%20glass.%20Add%20the%20club%20soda%20to%20the%20reduced%20coffee%20and%20pour%201/2%20of%20the%20coffee%20mixture%20over%20the%20ice%20cream%20and%20there%20you%20have%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20you'll%20experience%20is%20the%20creaminess%20of%20the%20vanilla%20ice%20cream%20followed%20by%20the%20wonderfully%20fizzy%20chocolaty%20flavor%20of%20this%20amazing%20coffee.%20Truly%20a%20delightful%20experience.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20just%20can't%20decide%20if%20this%20should%20be%20for%20dessert%20or%20breakfast....%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
