Ingredients
- Pastry:
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- Filling:
- 1 8 ounce package cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. sour cream
- Topping:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 TBS. milk
- 1 TBS. butter softened
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Place a sheet of parchment paper on a baking pan
- Open the can of crescent rolls carefully so as not to tear the dough. Leave the roll in it's clyndrical shape and slice into 1/4 inch slices, place on top of the parchment paper.
- Make an indentention in the middle of each slice for he cream cheese filling.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, and sour cream. Add a dollop of the mixture to the indention to each circle of dough. I find that about 1 tablespoon works well, but you can use as little or much as you like.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. While the pastries are baking, make the icing to drizzle over the top...
- When the pastries are done, let them cool before drizzling the icing over the top...
