%20since%20March%20and,%20quietly%20sitting%20on%20them%20these%20last%209%20months.%20%20As%20chance%20would%20have%20it,%20it%20was%20a%20good%20thing%20that%20I%20did.%20%20Thanks%20to%20friends%20on%20the%20Corningware%20Facebook%20group,%20I%20was%20able%20to%20get%20my%20hands%20on%20some%20photos%20of%20pieces%20I%20had%20not%20seen%20before.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20is%20all%20this%20about?%20%20Tis%20the%20season%20my%20friends,%20tis%20the%20season.%20%20Holiday%20time%20is%20upon%20us!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20it's%20before%20Thanksgiving,%20and%20technically%20the%20%22Christmas%20season%22%20does%20not%20start%20until%20AFTER%20this%20almost%20forgotten%20celebration.%20%20Though%20to%20be%20honest,%20you%20wouldn't%20know%20it%20the%20way%20the%20big%20box%20stores%20start%20shoving%20Christmas%20down%20everyone's%20throat%20in%20September.%20%20Maybe%20I%20am%20just%20a%20little%20over%20sensitive%20about%20is%20because%20I%20LOVE%20Thanksgiving.%20%20So%20I%20get%20annoyed%20when%20it%20gets%20brushed%20over%20because%20the%20retailers%20have%20not%20been%20able%20to%20figure%20out%20a%20way%20to%20make%20copious%20amounts%20of%20money%20from%20it...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWell,%20except%20the%20grocery%20stores,%20maybe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20just%20brush%20over%20the%20holiday%20centered%20around%20thankfulness%20for%20what%20we%20DO%20have%20and%20move%20right%20into%20the%20Holiday%20of%20%20%22want%22%20for%20things%20we%20DON'T%20have.%20%20Hmmmmmm....%20I%20am%20on%20the%20verge%20of%20entering%20into%20a%20theosophical%20dissertation,%20so%20it's%20time%20to%20refocus.%20%20:-)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBe%20that%20as%20it%20may...%20Both%20holidays%20bring%20families%20together%20and%20usually%20include%20some%20form%20of%20feasting.%20%20Which%20is%20the%20common%20thread%20at%20this%20time%20of%20year..%20The%20harvest%20is%20over%20and%20its%20time%20to%20hunker%20down%20for%20the%20coming%20winter.%20%20True,%20in%20this%20modern%20age,%20we%20don't%20%22wait%20out%22%20winter%20like%20we%20did%20200%20years%20ago.%20%20But%20we%20can%20still%20feast%20and%20party%20like%20it's%201699.%20%20So%20when%20your%20bringing%20all%20those%20wonderful%20family%20holiday%20traditions%20out%20of%20their%20storage%20boxes%20and%20dusting%20them%20off%20don't%20forget%20to%20include%20the%20Corningware.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENothing%20says%20%22festive%22%20quite%20like%20the%20Christmas%20Promotional%20designs%20that%20Corning%20produced%20over%20the%20years.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20far%20as%20I%20know,%20aside%20from%20the%20%22Christmas%20Tree%22%20pattern,%20these%20were%20never%20full%20sets.%20%20Just%201%20piece%20a%20year,%20with%20a%20Holiday%20design.%20%20One%20year%20it%20was%20a%20P-315%20Loaf%20Pan,%20the%20next%20year%20a%20P-83%20Menuette...%20%20A%20different%20dated%20piece%20every%20year%20with%20a%20different%20design.%20(Though%20they%20did%20recycle%202%20designs%20in%20the%2090s)%20%20Sort%20of%20like%20a%20Hallmark%20Christmas%20Ornament.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20will%20be%20a%20living%20post.%20%20As%20I%20find%20photos%20of%20other%20pieces%20from%20other%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eyears,%20I%20will%20add%20them%20to%20this%20post%20in%20the%20hopes%20of%20completing%20a%20full%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Erecord%20of%20all%20the%20yearly%20promotional%20pieces.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20here%20we%20go%20with%20a%20little%20Holiday%20Cheer%20in%20Corningware%20Style.....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1960%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1962%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1963%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1964%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1966%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1969%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1974%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1975%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1976%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1978%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1979%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1980%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1981%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1983%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1986%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1987%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1990%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1991%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1992?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20Corning%20Restaurant-ware,%20I%20don't%20know%20for%20sure%20if%20it%20was%20used%20on%20Corningware%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1993%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1996%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1998%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1999%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2000%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMystery%20Years%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20Open%20Roaster%20(A-21)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThough%20I%20have%20not%20seen%20them%20in%20person,%20nor%20found%20pictures%20on%20eBay%20or%20etsy...%20%20My%20assumption%20is%20that%20if%20they%20made%20a%201,%201%201/2%20&%202%20quart%20along%20with%20the%20Open%20Roaster,%20then%20there%20were%20probably%20a%203%20quart%20(A-3),%20a%204%20quart%20(A-4),%20a%205%20quart%20(A-5)%20and%20a%2010%20inch%20skillet/casserole%20(A-10)%20made%20as%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhere%20is%20your%20Corningware??%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
