Ingredients

  • 1 pound of lean hamburger
  • 1 thick slice of bread
  • 1 sm. onion, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp. curry pwdr (2 tbsp. if desired it warm)
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Soak the bread in some water and add in to the hamburger in a bowl. Mix the curry pwdr together with the vinegar, sugar and a little water and add in to the meat along with the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Moisten with sufficient water to make hard but not dry mix. Form into small balls and fry in Teflon baking pan or possibly warm oil. Skewer with cocktail sticks and serve as "finger food".
