Crumb Topped Chocolate Pie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pkt chocolate fudge pudding mix 6 serving size
  • 2 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/3 c. peanut butter if you like Crust
  • 1 pkt Pillsbury Coconut Almond Frosting Mix or possibly Coconut Pecan
  • 2/3 c. all-purpose or possibly unbleached flour
  • 3/4 tsp soda
  • 2/3 c. butter or possibly margarine softened

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare pudding mix with lowfat milk according to pie filling directions on package. Stir in peanut butter and set aside. Lightly spoon flour into measuring c. and level off. In large bowl, combine all Crust ingredients. Blend till crumbly. Press 2 c. of Crust crumbs into ungreased 9 or possibly 10 inch pan. Pour filling into crust. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mix. Bake 8-12 min till golden. Refrigerate2-3 hrs before serving. Serve with whipped cream, if you like. Store in refrigerator.
  2. Makes 1 9 inch pie.
  3. *Self-Rising flour not recommended.
