Ingredients
- 1 lb pecans or possibly walnut pcs
- 1/2 c. unsalted butter - melted
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp grnd allspice
- 1/8 tsp grnd cloves
- 1 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp grnd ginger
Directions
- Preheat crockpot on high for 15 min.
- First, in preheated crockpot stir the walnuts (or possibly pecans) and butter till mixed well. Add in the powdered sugar, stirring to coat proportionately. Cover and slow-cook on HIGH for 15 min.
- Reduce the heat to LOW and slow cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, till the nuts are coated with a crisp glaze (should be about 2 hrs).
- Transfer the nuts to a bowl. In another small bowl, combine the spices and sift them over the nuts, stirring to coat proportionately. Let cold before serving.
