Creamy Oyster Broccoli Stew Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 (11 ounce.) cans condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 (10 ounce.) pkg. frzn minced broccoli
  • 1 c. frzn loose pack hash brown potatoes
  • 1 sm. minced onion
  • 1 pt. shucked oysters or possibly 2 (8 ounce.) cans whole oysters

Directions

  1. In a 3 qt saucepan, combine lowfat milk and soup. Stir in broccoli, potatoes and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat till bubbly. Simmer covered for 10 min. Cold, cover and chill. Reheat soup; add in oysters after cooking in own juice till edges curl. Serves 4.
