  1. 1. In a large skillet, cook grnd pork, onion, and garlic over medium-high heat, stirring often to break up meat, till pork loses its pink color, about 5 min. Stir in 3/4 tsp. salt, Italian seasoning, and warm red pepper.
  2. 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together Large eggs, lowfat milk, remaining 1/4 tsp. salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. In a lightly buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish, spread 2 c. bread cubes.
  4. Cover with pork mix. Spread remaining 2 c. bread cubes over pork mix, then sprinkle on Cheddar cheese. Pour egg mix over all, cover with plastic wrap, and chill at least 2 hrs or possibly overnight.
  5. 4. Bake in a 350 degree oven till egg mix is set and top is browned, 50 to 60 min. Let stand 5 min before cutting into squares to serve.
