  1. Cream butter in medium bowl. Gradually add in 1 c. flour and powdered sugar, beating well. Press proportionately into a lightly greased 8 inch square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min or possibly till it is lightly browned. Beat Large eggs in a medium bowl till foamy. Add in 3/4 c. sugar, the remaining flour, baking pwdr, salt, vanilla, coconut, cherries and pecans; mix well. Spread proportionately over baked pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min. Let cold completely in pan. Cut into bars.
