  1. Heat the butter and oil in a saute/fry pan. Add in the onions and saute/fry over medium heat, stirring often, till tender and slightly golden brown. Then add in the garlic and saute/fry briefly. Add in the tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 min to blend flavors. Remove from the heat and let cold. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, ricotta, parmesan, parsley, chives, basil and Large eggs. Season with salt & pepper. Stir in three-quarters of the spaghetti sauce mix and mix well. Add in the cooked pasta and the mozzarella cheese and combine.
  2. Pour the mix into a casserole dish and top with the remaining sauce and parmesan cheese. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 min or possibly till heated through.
  3. Serves 6 hungry eaters.
