%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEven%20the%20baby%20geese%20know%20spring%20is%20finally%20here!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20belated%20warmer%20weather%20also%20means,%20as%20I%20discovered%20after%20talking%20to%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20local%20farmers%20at%20the%20market,%20that%20spring%20crops%20are%20finally%20starting%20to%20peek%20their%20heads%20above%20ground%20but%20are%20far%20from%20being%20ready%20for%20harvesting%20yet.%20So%20while%20other%20parts%20of%20the%20country,%20as%20I%20read,%20are%20glorying%20in%20asparagus%20season%20and%20fresh%20spring%20peas,%20we%20have%20to%20wait%20patiently%20a%20while%20longer.%20In%20the%20meantime,%20I%20shall%20keep%20reading%20the%20recipes%20from%20my%20lovely%20blogger%20friends%20who%20already%20do%20have%20spring%20veggies,%20and%20plan%20happily%20for%20when%20ours%20come.%20Right%20now,%20the%20only%20thing%20growing%20locally%20are%20hardy%20greens%20and%20Brussels%20sprouts%20that%20lasted%20through%20the%20winter,%20and%20I%20am%20content%20to%20practice%20some%20spring%20flavors%20with%20what%20veggies%20we%20have...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrussels%20Sprouts%20and%20Swiss%20Chard%20with%20Tamari%20and%20Sesame%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20Whisk%20together%20the%20tamari,%20lemon%20juice,%20brown%20sugar,%20and%203%20T%20of%20the%20sesame%20oil,%20and%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20Heat%20the%20remaining%202%20T%20of%20sesame%20oil%20in%20a%20wok%20over%20medium%20high%20heat%20and%20quickly%20stir%20fry%20the%20green%20onions.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20Add%20the%20Brussels%20sprouts,%20and%20keep%20stir%20frying%20quickly%20until%20they%20start%20to%20brown.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20Add%20the%20Swiss%20chard%20and%20toss%20until%20just%20wilted.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20Pour%20the%20sauce%20over,%20and%20toss%20a%20couple%20of%20times%20to%20coat%20the%20veggies%20and%20rewarm.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E~%20Serve%20warm%20or%20cold!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
