Directions

  1. Sift dry ingredients together and add in nuts. Heat shortening. Remove from heat. Add in sugar and beat well. When cold, add in Large eggs, vanilla, and dry ingredients; mix well. Turn into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake 20 to 25 min. Cold in pan. Cut in squares.
