  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spread blackberries in un-greased 2-quart casserole.
  2. Reserve 1 tsp. of the sugar. Mix remaining sugar, the cornstarch and lemon juice. Drizzle cornstarch mix over blackberries; stir gently. Mix flour, baking pwdr and salt in medium bowl. Stir in lowfat milk, margarine and egg. Spread batter proportionately over blackberries, sealing edge. Sprinkle with reserved sugar Bake 30-35 min or possibly till topping is golden. Let stand 10 min before serving.
