  1. Cream together, butter, sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  2. Combine orange juice, molasses, orange peel and vanilla.
  3. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, nutmeg, salt, cinnamon and cloves.
  4. Add in to creamed mix, alternately with orange juice mix, mixing after each addition. Stir in black walnuts and raisins.
  5. Pour into lightly greased and floured 9 X 9 X 2 inch baking pan. Bake in moderate oven (350) for 40 to 45 min, until done. Cold.
  6. Frosting: Cream together 3 Tbsp. butter, gradually add in 1 1/4 c. sifted confectioners' sugar, blending well. Beat in 2 Tbsp. orange juice and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Gradually blend in an additional 1 1/4 c. sifted confectioners sugar. Add in just sufficient orange juice to make the frosting of spreading consistency.
