Ingredients
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1/2 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. minced green pepper
- 1 c. canned tomatoes and juice
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 envelope (1/2 c.) instant mashed potatoes
Directions
- Cook beef, onions and green pepper over low heat, stirring occasionally, till beef is browned. Add in tomatoes, salt, 1/8 tsp. of pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer 10 to 12 min to blend flavors. Prepare mashed potatoes according to directions on package, adding 1/8 tsp. pepper.
- Pour meat mix into a casserole. Spoon potatoes in small mounds on top of beef mix. Serve or possibly you can broil till potatoes are lightly browned.
