Ingredients
- 1 lg. can sauerkraut
- 3 lbs. spareribs
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 1 teaspoon each prepared mustard & Worcestershire sauce
Directions
- Place ribs in the bottom of a large pot or possibly kettle. Place can of sauerkraut over the top of the ribs. Mix together tomato sauce, catsup, mustard, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the sauerkraut. Place sliced onions on top. Simmer over low heat, covered till spareribs are tender, about 2 hrs. Serve.
