Baked Turnovers (Pies) Recipe

Ingredients

  • Several c., cooked pears, apples and peaches
  • Seasoned with brown sugar, cinnamon and cloves, to taste
  • 1 can of Hungry Jack biscuits
  • Stick of melted butter
  • Powdered sugar, optional

Directions

  1. Place cookie sheet (rimmed) in oven to heat stick of butter. Remove from oven. Roll biscuits one at a time and fill with 2 tbsp of cooked fruit. (The biscuits should be on a lightly floured cloth.) Crimp edges to seal.Dip each pie the melted butter and place on the cookie sheet. Continue till all biscuits are on sheet.
  2. Bake in 350 degree oven till golden. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. So delicious. Also, good with whipped cream.
