About me

I'm 47 years old, English, Muslim (important for ingredients) and married to a Chef (but I'm a better cook and he asks my advice).
I cook a lot of N.African dishes and Italian, and although I don't make many cakes now (we both prefer savory) I used to make spectacular gateaus for my family and still do the Christmas cakes and mince pies for them and their friends (they're Christians). I still do the odd birthday cake but more often than not, my desserts and cakes are made for my husbands restaurant.
