About me

Hmmm....home is where the Marine Corps sends us. As such, there are food adventures and life adventures around every corner. I am a former Marine. A cookbook to me is like a GREAT novel to be savored and read and reread. A GREAT day is one in which I have spent much of it thinking and planning and reading and purchasing and preparing a great meal for my loved ones. I raised a son who is a NECI graduated chef. Yes, food is wonderful! :)

I learned to cook Pakistani food from a friend in the DC area and it is one of my favorites still.

LOVE Asian influence.

In fact, the only food you would have to coerce me to enjoy is Ethiopian which I have tried to enjoy in DC where there are some amazing restaurants but it is the only cuisine I've not learned to love.

I am a foodie at heart!
