I'm Aparna and I blog at My Diverse Kitchen. A SAHM to our 14 year old, I enjoy cooking and baking, especially bread. We are vegetarian by tradition and by choice. We love good food and are having fun exploring the world, one dish at a time.
Cooking Influences
I'm naturally influenced by the cooking tradition in the south Indian vegetarian community we belong to, and this is what I mostly cook on an everyday basis. However, we enjoy any kind of vegetarian food that appeals to our taste.
Baking is not a traditionally Indian cooking style, so that's what I'm enjoying exploring and I especially love baking my own bread.
Even though we do eat eggs, they're not a favourite, so I do keep trying to bake without eggs whenever I can.
